2024-2025 includes E-Ray. Developing systems for the C8 Corvette presented some unique challenges. This 3″ inlet Cat-Back(tm) system includes both AFM (’20-’21)/ DFM (’22-’25) valves and NPP dual mode exhaust valves. The S-Type sound delivers a powerful, yet balanced sound with a deep tone and no drone. It features our Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire(r) technology. Borla(r) ‘S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, Borla(r) ‘S patented SwitchFire(r) design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom aggressive sound. Strategically placed heat shielding is included to prevent exhaust heat damage and protect your Corvette. It comes with 4″ round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. Using Borla(r) Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Systems are also available with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, or carbon fiber tips. The system is constructed using T-304 stainless steel and is backed by our Million Mile Warranty. System ships in 2 boxes. Note: After installation of the Borla(r) system, the controllers for the AFM/ DFM and NPP valves in the exhaust system should be RE-CALIBRATED according to GM Document ID 5406413. Borla(r) recommends taking your car to a Chevrolet dealer for the recalibration service.
